Coach Rick Totten invited former WSU Basketball player, Isaiah Poor Bear-Chandler to Oxford to visit with students about his experiences. He even shot around with the junior high basketball teams and stayed to watch them play last night! Thank you Coach Totten and Isaiah for providing the experience for Oxford students.

Oxford was presented with a gift print created by artist Gesine Janzen from the KSU's Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art. Museum Director, Kent M. Smith, Curator, Liz Seaton, and USD 465 art collection committee member, Madeline DeMint visited Oxford on Friday to deliver the art work. Thank you to J.K. Campbell for putting Oxford in the drawing to receive the piece.

Oxford will be in session Tuesday. Take cold weather precautions and drive safe. Buses will run, so if your child will not be riding please notify your driver. If your children normally walk and have no other way to school, call the office and we will send someone to get them.

Oxford High School will celebrate homecoming week January 8-12th. Congratulations to the 2024 Winter Homecoming Candidates. Queen candidates are Lindy Donley, Mya Denning-Johnson, and Kamrie Perry. King candidates are Cayden Carpenter, Jason Mercer, and Anthony Williams.
The high school basketball games schedule for tonight against Sedan have been postponed. The games will be made up on a date to be determined.
