Saturday, the Oxford Forensics State qualifiers participated in the State Festival in Wichita. Doug Schulte and Jason Mercer both received a 2 for their informative speeches. Cecily Shull and Kennedy Hege both received a 1 (top score) for their poetry performances. Mary Flowers also received a rating 1 for her humorous solo acting. Congratulations to all!
The last day of the 22-23 school year is Friday, May 12th! Oxford hosts the 1st rounds of the SCBL baseball and softball tournaments, field trips, and sports banquets are on the calendar for the week. Enjoy the final before summer break.

Oxford will host 1st day of the SCBL Softball and Baseball Tournaments. 11 am start time for both Game 1’s. The games will moving on rolling schedule with 30 minute warm ups between games. Check out the brackets for game order.

The high school track meet has been cancelled today due to weather. No track practices for high school or middle school after school today either.

Senior night was a success! The Lady Cats are now 12-0 on the season: Seniors include Liberty Kies, Treva Williams, Parker Chrisman and Emery Commerford. Baseball has a 9-3 record lead by seniors Cristian Bain, Hayden Ruyle, Peyton Rush, Alex Alata, and Colby Hammond.


Monday, the CLASS of 2023 SENIORS participating in baseball, softball, and track will be recognized between the double header baseball and softball games. Come out and show your appreciate for their representation of Oxford High School over the years.

Oxford's own Lauren Van Allen was recognized today at the Kansas Teacher of the Year Banquet as a secondary semi-finalist. We are so proud of all you do for students and they way you represent our school with pride. Lauren is outstanding educator.
This award recognizes excellent teaching in the elementary and secondary classrooms across the state. The Kansas Teacher of the Year Region 4 Awards Banquet took place at the Wichita Marriott Hotel, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive
