You are invited to a retirement reception, on Wednesday, May 15th from 4 pm to 5 pm. Danny Ginn (OHS Wood Shop Teacher), Dee Ginn (Third Grade Teacher), and Sherry White (OHS Counselor) are all retiring after the school year. Help us celebrate their accomplishment and thank them for their years of service and dedication to the Oxford community.

What's the BUZZ in second grade?
This week second grade has been learning all about bees. Today, Mr. Yoder gave a fascinating presentation for the second graders over bees and honey. They learned some un-BEE-lievable facts and got to taste some delicious honey.
Junior High Track is headed back to Oxford. The meet is now canceled due to rain and storms. They are stopping at McDonalds in El Dorado first.
The Junior High Track meet at Eureka is ON today.

The Wildcat ladies won 1st place at the Central Meet! Of the 19 events- they collected 8 golds, 3 silvers, and 2 bronzes. Lily Jordan set a new school record in the discus with 123' 10" The previous record was set by Lynsey Metz in 2007. The boys team finished 3rd. Track seniors were recognized tonight. Mya, Noel, Kaden, Adam, and Cayden have all shown heart and determination this season. They still have a lot of great work to do as they aim to qualify for state. We are proud of you!
Wildcat Softball celebrated seniors Eva and Lindy tonight. Eva, congratulations on your senior season and leadership. Lindy, thanks for being willing to jump in and help out the Wildcats. Both are true teammates and are positive examples to follow. #Seniors2024
Tonight, OHS baseball celebrated senior night for Karter, Jason, and Anthony. Thank you for your leadership and hard work. You each will do great things remember, "Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat!"
Baseball and Softball are at home tonight playing Flinthills. Game 1 starts at 3 pm. Senior Night will be held between games (Baseball, Softball, and Track). Come enjoy the sunshine and cheer on the CATS!

KAY club is preparing for the Little Luau they are hosting on Saturday, April 20 from 3-5pm in the high school commons! Bring your elementary student for fun, games, dancing and door prizes!
