
KAY club celebrated their annual KAYs-giving last night with a big potluck dinner, writing thank you notes to teachers and staff, and creating grateful trees to decorate the commons.





We have great things happening at our school and in our community. Thanks to everyone that made today a success

Mrs. Carpenter's class made a handprint flag for the father of one of her students who was recently deployed. We are gathering items to send as a "care" package for him and his fellow soldiers. If you would like to contribute non-perishable food items or card games, please send them to the school by Monday. We will get the package in the mail next week. Thank you in advance for your contributions.

CHANGE- the hearing date for the required new non-resident student policy has been rescheduled for Monday, December 11th at 6:50pm. A copy of the proposed policy can be found at www.usd358.com.

Art students Eva Navrat (Senior) and Fayth Catlin (Junior) competed in the Cowley College Prodigy Awards competition on Wednesday Nov 8th at Cowley College in Ark City Kansas. Fayth submitted 3 pieces to the show and Eva submitted 5. Eva was awarded 3rd place in the Ceramics category for her Fish Bowl, a piece that was also recognized at the Cowley County Fair and Kansas State Fair. The students then toured the art department, met professors, and participated in a wire sculpture workshop with art students from other schools.

Oxford High School's National Honor Society inducted 12 new members tonight. Each has demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Congratulations and welcome to NHS.




It's Election Day!


The Junior class is hosting a chicken noodle fundraising meal on Friday, November 17th prior to Oxford High School basketball's "Late Night in the O" scrimmage.


The high school track will be off limits for the next three days so minor repairs can be made to the surface.


Fun Times at Kinder Readiness night!! Thanks to all the parents who came with their children!!








20 students braved the cold weather and wind to run the annual Top 20 mile! Zoey won the race with a time of 7:05! 2nd place was Braxtyn. 3rd, Gracie, 4th, Cooper. 5th, Dexter. 6th, Ava. Congratulations to all!!
